Hey ladies!
Hey ladies! How is everyone? Huh? Huh?
Just a quick hello so everyone doesn't feel neglected (I know, I've been SO neglectful, you know I love you guys...right?)
Nothing new to report. Went to Minnesota. It was SO COLD. -15 already. The californians I was with couldn't handle it. *snicker*. then got on a plane and the computer system failed so we had to land in Denver. SO BORING (and quite the business trip). I've been feeling SO homesick lately. I really miss everyone. I can't wait to come to visit. I so have no friends here. It's killing me.
That's all I got. I'm half asleep due to landing at 1am last night and not being able to sleep at all. My mind was RACING! (one of those nights).
Hick - I'll call you tomorrow re: that contact info you needed.

i have to say that i miss you tons. not only are you not close by to jet home to us just for a quick eat at orange, but you are WORKING (horrors!) and so your msn appearance has vastly reduced. thus, my heart is void of tali-dom, yet another reason why woe is me.
and my friend, i know the move has been tough, and it is so hard to get used to a new place, a new job and a new lifestyle all at once. i truly empathize, and send you warm hugs and hearty laughs for all the times that you are feeling lonely and blue and need some of your montrealy girlfriend action. and i know that it feels good to share your plight with us supportive, wonderful people, because we will always do our best to make you feel good, and positively reinforce the decisions you have made. THAT IS WHAT WE ARE HERE FOR!! (hurrah for the girls!)
but although i would love for every second entry on our blog to be about how lonely you are, so that in return i can constantly tell you how lonely i am without you here, i am DYING to know about what else is gping on in san francisco. it seems that i am destined to remain here in the mont for the remainder of my life (and with the life expectancy soaring higher and higher, this may be a very loooong time,) i would like to take the opportunity of your living elsewhere to live vicariously through you.
and so i am going to provide you with a few topics that would provide amusement for me (and maybe even my fellow girls) on the subject of san francisco, and to attempt to get you to focus on the fun and funny things of your new home. (i will do it in the form of a series of top tens lists, just to make it easy...)
1. the top ten great things about west coast living
2. the top ten reasons why chinese and sushi are better there
3. the top ten nutty things that you saw on the muni on your way to work this morning
4. the top ten motivational phrases you repeat to yourself while walking up all those damn hills
5. the top ten great thing about california dudes
6. the top ten things that your collegues complain about, instead of complaining about the weather (because here the weather would constitute complaints 1-76)
ok lady! get to it (when you have a moment of non-work!) i look forward to hearing positive things!
